Sony - The '70s status symbol...

A triple whammy of music centre demo tapes, chock full of top easy listening material. Note the CBS/Sony credit on the first two, a sign of things to come... No doubt these were the listening choice of visitors to the Sony Showroom in Regent Street, London. I used to take my own with me. Sod Trafalgar Square, take me to the Sony Showroom - the highlight of the bi-annual 300-mile visit to the big smoke...

A rather well-used 1976 basic C90 - top LP, by the way, though it could be seen as an unusual choice for a six year old... my sadly lost C60 (orange) had Noel Edmonds Lucky Numbers on it, while a C120 (blue, with white shell) had a Top 40 recording when The Dickies were in the charts with Banana Splits, and The Damned with Love Song.
